Developed & executed mobile strategy for O’Reilly Media through focusing on extending & enriching the Safari Books Online e-learning platform while unifying the brand and ecosystem across mobile.


Product Manager, Mobile

  • Delivered products & experience supporting subscription-based learning platform that generates +$80M through development of mobile learning solutions including Live Online Classes and Learning Paths for companies like Oracle, Tesla, IBM, and Netflix.

  • Expanded the capabilities of the mobile apps through overhaul of iOS & Android codebases, integration of Intercom live chat capability, and development of features including two-step authentication,

  • Implemented Buildathing program that enabled the mobile engineering team to develop and drive forward their ideas; provided support and resources, and integrated dedicate development time to sprints resulting in adoption of multiple features & concepts.

  • Adopted Agile and integrated UXD in collaborative initiative with Design to evolve the usability, accessibility, and desirability to the apps for users; led onsite design sessions with users at conferences.

  • Led customer user journey mapping exercises to define relationships between O’Reilly brand & customers; developed visualizations & touchpoint timelines alongside user personas.
